Your song
Every Musimee song is created from the story you tell and exists nowhere else. When you buy, you receive a permanent, worldwide licence for personal use of the lyric and the recordings: you can listen, download, keep, gift, play at parties and ceremonies, send by message and post on your social networks, with or without the video created on Musimee.
The licence is non-exclusive and cannot be transferred or sublicensed. It does not include: selling the song or copies of it, licensing it to others, using it in advertising, in products, in paid services or in monetised channels as your own work, or registering it with distributors or collecting societies.
Your story
The story, names, dates and moments you write remain yours. You grant us permission to use them only to write, produce, deliver, correct and keep your song. We do not publish your song or your story: your order page is seen only by whoever has the link, and the link is yours.
What Musimee keeps
LP Digital Records LLC keeps the rights needed to operate the service — to store, stream, re-record and correct your song, and to improve how songs are made. The demos on the site are our own productions, made from authorised stories.
How the songs are made
Lyrics and recordings are produced with artificial intelligence technology from what you tell us. The voices are synthetic. We do not imitate real artists and do not take requests to reproduce the voice, the recognisable style or the work of a specific person; we do not put excerpts of existing songs in the lyric. If you ask for a reference ("a ballad", "a vallenato"), what we make is an original song in that genre.
Trademarks
Musimee, the logo and the name LP Digital Records LLC are our trademarks and distinctive signs. Do not use them to suggest your song was made by somebody else or that a product of yours is Musimee's.
Takedown requests
If you believe a song, a text or an image made available through Musimee infringes a right of yours — copyright, image or privacy — write to [email protected] with:
- the link or identification of the content;
- a description of the right you believe is infringed, and why;
- your name and a way to contact you;
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you are entitled to make the request.
We review every request and answer. When the content belongs to a customer, we inform that customer. In the United States we follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) procedure.
Questions
For any use not described here — a song for a corporate event, a use in a video with commercial purposes, a licence question — write to [email protected] first. It is usually simple to sort out.
